There is an old oak tree called "Angel Oak" that was by Kiawah and we went to check it out. Its over 1,400 years old and is HUGE!! These pictures do not do it justice... its incredible.
There were huge branches everywhere! They have started placing support beams around the huge branches to help preserve the tree and keep large branches from breaking off.
Look how small the people look compared to the tree..
