Spring

Where has the time gone? Spring is here in full force and we are busy as ever. Gus continues to grow and we love seeing all the progress he has made. We also have a new nephew! Miles joined the world on April 3rd and is happy and healthy!

The beginning of Winter

We have been super busy these past few weeks. Gus continue to grow and change everyday. He is so much fun and we are enjoying watching his progress. We also became an aunt and uncle again! We have a new niece named Eleanor, and she is so precious. We are looking forward to spending some time with family and friends this holiday season.

Fall Weekend

We decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall weekend that we had. We took Gus to the park for the first time and he did a great job! He walked for almost 30 minutes! We also took him home to meet everyone!

We also took Gus to Tipp City to meet the families. He loves everyone :)

Introducing Gus Duncan, the newest member of our family :) We love him already, he is such a good pup... not a single accident in the house today! Can't wait to introduce him to everyone~

Columbus Marathon

Aaron and I ran our first full marathon (26.2 miles) today. We are so proud of this accomplishment and are so happy we could do it together. We also joined Team Fox, which is Michael J. Fox's foundation for Parkinson's research and together we raised $1,800.00 in honor of his grandpa! Thank you so much to all the donors, friends, and family who supported us along the way. We couldn't have done it without you!









We finished right around 5 hours. We were happy to finish while running the whole thing!



Our friends Jess and Martin ran also... we all have a lot to be proud of.

Meet Gus

We got to pick out Gus yesterday and we are so excited. We think we got the best pup of course... he is so tiny! We get to bring him home in 3 weeks!!

Apple Picking

The Duncans came up for a visit this weekend and we had a great time. We went to Lynds fruit farm and picked apples! I am going to make an apple pie with all of the Jonathan apples that we picked.

Eric's Deployment

Eric has officially left for deployment. We sure are going to miss him, but couldn't be more proud of the man he has become. We honor him and will continue to support him as he is fighting for our country and our freedom.

As Eric's deployment approached, we took advantage of all the free time together we could get!

We Moved!

Sorry for the delay in postings... we have been SO busy. We have moved into a townhouse and are loving it. We are also deep into our marathon training, the race is only 6 weeks away! We are also counting down the weeks until we get our puppy Gus! He should be born this week :) Should be a busy fall!

This weekend Dan and Georgia came to visit! Dan whipped up an amazing dinner and it was so nice to visit :)

4th of July

Happy Independence Day! We were happy to share the holiday with friends watching the parade and fireworks!

Anniversary

We went out downtown on Friday to celebrate our anniversary with a nice dinner and fireworks. On our actual anniversary, we made a yummy dinner (same as what we ate the night of the wedding) and ate a re-created top tier of our cake. We had a wonderful 1st anniversary :)
